Most competitors ever at a BC Freestyle Ski Series Event - 17/1/2010
A ton of fun was had at the 1st of 3 BC Series Freestyle Ski Events for 2010. Apex Mountain and Apex Freestyle Ski Club pulled off a very successful event. Over 128 competitors competed in 2 Single Mogul events and 1 Big Air. There were some challenges because of so many competitors. BC Freestyle will meet in the coming weeks to put together recommendation for future events that have these high numbers. BC Freestyle would like to congratulate all the athletes for giving it their best efforts. Families from all over BC Attended Apex. Thanks to all the volunteers, officials and coaches as well.

BC Series #1 at Apex

AFC will host the first of the BC Freestyle Series competitions - January 15th – 17th
This is the first competition of the season – one of two qualifying events for the Canadian Junior Nationals. This is a great opportunity to see some really talented youths ripping it up. There will be over 100 competitors ages 10 and up competing from Apex Freestyle Club, Whistler/Blackcomb Freestyle Club, Silver Star Freestyle Club, Big White Freestyle Club, Revelstoke Freestyle Club, Vancouver Freestyle Club, Mount Washington Freestyle Club, Kimberly Freestyle Club and the BC Provincial Freestyle Team.
This weekend marks the final weekend to perfect our tricks and technique to prepare for
January 15th – 17th.

BC Series #1 Moved

BC Freestyle Ski Association would like to announce that BC Series #1 has been re-located from Revelstoke Mountain Resort(RMR) to Apex Mountain Resort. The organizing committee felt Apex Freestyle Ski Club and Apex Mountain Resort was in a better position to host this early season event for 2010.

BC Freestyle Ski Association is looking forward to returning to RMR February 18-21 for the Canada Post Freestyle Frenzy Nor-am. Thanks to the great support for Freestyle at both Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Apex Mountain Resort.
